CHAPTER 7
¹And it came to pass, in the days appointed by the Lord, that Ajora, the Glabados, Son of God, journeyed toward the holy city of Murond, which is called the city of the divine temple and the seat of the priests who held sway over the people.
²And a great multitude followed Him, from all corners of the kingdoms, drawn by His teaching and His miracles, for the fame of His works had spread far and wide.
³And as He approached the gates of Murond, the people gathered in throngs upon the road, their hearts stirred with hope and reverence.
⁴And they cut down palms from the trees that lined the way, and strewn them upon the ground, that He might ride over them in triumph.
⁵And Ajora sent forth two of His disciples before Him, bidding them to fetch a horse from the village nearby, that He might ride in the manner of kings and conquerors.
⁶And the disciples went and returned with the horse, white and strong, bearing the mark of the Lord’s favor upon its brow.
⁷And Ajora mounted the horse, and the people rejoiced exceedingly, for never before had the Son of God entered thus upon a beast of honor, but rather upon a lowly beast of burden.
⁸And the multitudes spread their garments upon the road before Him, as a sign of homage and adoration, and shouted aloud, saying, “Hosanna! Blessed is the Glabados who cometh in the name of the Lord!”
⁹And children ran before Him, waving branches of palm and singing praises unto the Most High.
¹⁰And the priests of the Pharist order looked upon the scene with bitter hearts, for they feared the growing power of Ajora and His following.
¹¹And the scribes whispered among themselves, “Behold, this man seeketh to overthrow our temple and our rule; let us prepare to strike him down.”
¹²Yet Ajora looked upon the city with eyes of mercy and of sorrow, for He knew the hour of His suffering drew nigh.
¹³And He said unto the disciples, “Behold, the city of Murond, the holy city, which shall see the coming of the Son of God, and the setting of the sun upon the old ways.”
¹⁴And the disciples marveled, and questioned Him, “Master, what shall come to pass within the walls of this city, that even now thou lookest with sadness?”
¹⁵Ajora answered, “Within these walls shall be born both the crown of glory and the crown of thorns; the stone of salvation and the rock of offense.”
¹⁶“The gates of the city shall open wide to receive the King of kings, yet many shall reject Him, and His way shall be a path of suffering and death.”
¹⁷“Yet from the pain shall spring forth life eternal, and from the gallows shall flow the water of redemption for all who believe.”
¹⁸And the multitude continued to acclaim Him, crying, “Blessed be the Son of God, the Glabados! Hosanna in the highest!”
¹⁹And as He rode through the streets of Murond, the people gathered to hear His voice, and to see the fulfillment of the ancient prophecies.
²⁰And Ajora spoke unto them, saying, “Repent ye, and believe in the Kingdom of Paradise, which is at hand.”
²¹“The Lord God hath sent me to proclaim deliverance to the captives, and sight to the blind, and liberty to them that are bruised.”
²²“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.”
²³“Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted.”
²⁴“Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit Ivalice.”
²⁵“Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.”
²⁶“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.”
²⁷“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.”
²⁸“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God.”
²⁹And the people listened, and many were moved to tears and to faith, but others hardened their hearts and conspired against Him.
³⁰And it was at this time that the Pharist priests and the chief scribes gathered secretly in the temple, plotting how to put an end to Ajora’s rising power.
³¹And they sent spies and false witnesses among the people, to catch Him in His words and to accuse Him of blasphemy.
³²But Ajora continued His journey through Murond, healing the sick and comforting the afflicted, showing mercy to the poor and the outcast.
³³And the children followed Him, singing praises and laying palms before His horse, crying, “Glory to the Glabados! Glory to the Son of God!”
³⁴And many who had not seen hope in many years believed in His name and were saved that day.
³⁵And Ajora’s disciples remembered these words, and they knew that the day of glory was also the day of sorrow, and that soon the shadow of death would fall upon their Master.
³⁶And Ajora spake unto them privately, saying, “The hour cometh, even now, when I shall be forsaken, and suffer the death upon Golgorand.”
³⁷“But fear not, for I shall rise again on the third day, and the Kingdom of Paradise shall be established forevermore.”
³⁸And the disciples wept, but they believed His words and trusted in the promises of the Lord.
³⁹And the multitude continued to follow Him, their faith strengthened and their hope renewed.
⁴⁰And the city of Murond was filled with a great light, as the Son of God rode through its streets, heralding the dawn of salvation.
⁴¹Blessed be the Lord, who sent His Son to redeem the world, and to prepare a way for all who seek the Kingdom of Heaven.
⁴²Amen.
