CHAPTER 11
¹And it came to pass upon the third day from the hanging, when the morning star rose in the eastern Heavens, that Ivalice was filled with a great stillness, as if the very breath of creation waited upon the coming of the dawn.
²The faithful who had followed the Lord from Betalon unto Golgorand came before the sepulchre at the rising of the sun, bearing spices and ointments to anoint the sacred body of Ajora, the Glabados.
³And behold, as they approached the place where the stone was set before the tomb, they found it rolled away, and the entrance made bare; the seal was broken, and the guards were fled as if the hand of the Most High had struck them with terror.
⁴And they entered into the tomb with trembling hearts, seeking the body of the Lord; but lo, the chamber was empty, and the linens wherein the body was wrapped lay folded apart.
⁵And suddenly there appeared unto them a figure of brightness, clothed in raiment shining as the dawn, whose countenance was as lightning and whose voice was as the rushing of many waters.
⁶They fell upon their faces and were sore afraid; but the figure spake unto them, saying, “Fear not, for I bring tidings of gladness: Ajora the Glabados is risen, even as He foretold unto His disciples.”
⁷“Go ye swiftly, and tell His chosen twelve, and all the multitudes, that He hath conquered death and the grave, and shall walk among them no more in suffering, but in glory everlasting.”
⁸Then they departed with haste, their hearts aflame with wonder and joy, and ran unto the place where the disciples gathered, crying aloud the marvelous news.
⁹And as they proclaimed the resurrection, some believed, and others doubted, for the weight of sorrow yet pressed upon their souls.
¹⁰But behold, as they tarried, suddenly the doors were opened, and Ajora Himself stood in their midst, His wounds healed, and His face radiant as the sun at high noonday.
¹¹The disciples were sore amazed and sore afraid, thinking they beheld a spirit, yet Ajora spake unto them with the voice of life, saying, “Peace be unto thee, my brethren. Touch Me, and see that I am not a phantom of the night, but the living Son of the Most High.”
¹²And they beheld His neck, scarred from the rope, and they rejoiced with exceeding great joy, for their Lord had risen indeed, victorious over death and the darkness of Hell.
¹³Ajora then took bread, and blessing it, He brake it, and gave unto them, saying, “Take, eat, for this is My body, given for the salvation of many.”
¹⁴Likewise, He took the cup, and gave thanks, saying, “This is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for the remission of sins; drink ye all of it, and remember Me.”
¹⁵And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the scriptures concerning the Kingdom of the Most High and the works of the Glabados.
¹⁶Then He commanded them, saying, “Go ye forth into all the lands of the world, and proclaim the Gospel to every soul; teach them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded thee.”
¹⁷“And lo, I am with thee always, even unto the end of the age, to strengthen and comfort thee in tribulation.”
¹⁸After these things, Ajora led them forth to the Mount of Promise, where He blessed them and gave them power from on high, the Spirit of Truth, to be their guide and sanctifier.
¹⁹And as the disciples beheld, the Lord was lifted up from their sight, and a cloud received Him out of their eyes, and He ascended into the Heavens.
²⁰And the disciples worshipped Him, returning unto the city with gladness and boldness, preaching with power the resurrection and the eternal life.
²¹Through the days that followed, the multitudes saw the Lord Ajora again and again, and many were converted, for His resurrection was the sure sign of God’s dominion over death and darkness.
²²And it was declared among the faithful that Ajora had broken the bonds of Hell and opened the gates of Paradise, that all who keep His commandments might enter into the fullness of joy.
²³Blessed be the name of Ajora the Glabados, the risen Son of the Most High, whose victory is the hope of all the faithful.
²⁴Therefore, let all who hear these words hearken and hold fast to the teaching, that they may walk in the light and not be consumed by the shadows.
²⁵For the Lord Ajora hath triumphed over death, and hath promised that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but shall have life everlasting.
²⁶Let the church be built upon the rock of this faith, and let the pillars of truth and mercy uphold it forevermore.
²⁷And let none stray into the darkness of falsehood, nor turn aside into the paths of corruption; but keep ye the commandments of the Lord and walk humbly with Him.
²⁸For the resurrection is the dawn of the new creation, the breaking forth of eternal light, and the surety of the Kingdom to come.
²⁹Glory be unto Ajora, the Glabados, forever and ever. Amen.
