CHAPTER 2
¹And it came to pass, after the vision had filled the heart of Jorah with fire, that the Lord once again appeared to him in a dream.
²The Heavens opened as before, and the voice of God spoke with a voice both gentle and mighty, as the sound of many waters.
³“Jorah, chosen of My spirit, hear My word and be not afraid.”
⁴“The path thou shalt walk is narrow and full of trials, but the reward is great beyond all measure.”
⁵“Go forth into the kingdoms — to the cities where the proud dwell, to the villages where the humble bow, and to the farthest corners where none have heard My voice.”
⁶“Preach to all that My Son is coming soon, and with Him shall come wonders never before seen by mortal eyes.”
⁷“He will heal the broken and raise the fallen, turn the darkness to light, and open the gates of Paradise to those who believe.”
⁸“Let no one be deceived by the lies of the wicked nor turned away by the scoffing of the proud.”
⁹“Thou shalt speak plainly and boldly, and those who hear shall know that the time of salvation draws near.”
¹⁰“But know this, Jorah: many will rise up against thee, and the rulers of Ivalice will seek to silence thy voice.”
¹¹“They will mock thee, imprison thee, and even seek to spill thy blood upon the stones.”
¹²“Yet thou must not waver, for I am with thee always, even unto the end of the age.”
¹³“Remember the words of the prophets before thee, and the example of the righteous who bore their burdens.”
¹⁴“Keep the Faith, and do not be moved by the fear of death or the threats of men.”
¹⁵“For thy labour is not in vain, and thy reward is great in My Kingdom.”
¹⁶“Go now, and let thy voice be as a trumpet in the wilderness.”
¹⁷“Prepare the way for My Son, that the people’s hearts may be ready to receive Him.”
¹⁸Jorah awoke from the vision with tears upon his cheeks and a burning in his soul.
¹⁹He bowed before the rising sun and whispered, “Lord, I am but a servant, yet I will obey Thy will.”
²⁰And with this, the Spirit of the Lord clothed him with courage and strength, like a mighty armor.
²¹He set out from his home, leaving behind the comforts of familiar places and the safety of quiet days.
²²In every town and city, Jorah proclaimed the coming of the Saviour, whose miracles would shake the very world.
²³“Prepare thyselves,” he declared, “for the hand of God moves swiftly.”
²⁴“The sick shall be healed; the dead shall rise; the blind shall see.”
²⁵“The Kingdom of Paradise draws near to those who open their hearts.”
²⁶Yet many turned away with scorn and ridicule.
²⁷The priests and rulers, whose hearts were hardened by pride and greed, whispered against him in secret councils.
²⁸“Who is this man who dares to proclaim the coming of a new king?”
²⁹“Is he not a fool, or worse, a deceiver seeking to stir rebellion among the people?”
³⁰Their jealousy and fear stirred the crowds to anger, and many sought to cast stones at the Prophet.
³¹But Jorah remained steadfast, for the Lord had promised to uphold him.
³²When the sun rose each morning, it found Jorah standing boldly in the market squares, speaking with passion and conviction.
³³And when the sun set each evening, it found him weary but unbroken, sustained by the power of God within him.
³⁴He comforted the brokenhearted and gave hope to the hopeless.
³⁵He spoke of a world made new, where suffering would cease and joy would fill every heart.
³⁶Though beaten and mocked, his spirit was unshaken, for he knew that his message was not his own, but the Word of the Most High.
³⁷Many came secretly to listen, their hearts stirred by the promise of miracles and salvation.
³⁸Mothers brought their children; the poor gathered in the shadows; the sick sought the word that might heal their souls.
³⁹And even among the hardened, whispers of hope began to take root, though few dared speak openly.
⁴⁰As the days grew darker, the rulers grew more desperate.
⁴¹They plotted to silence the voice that threatened their power and to break the faith that challenged their rule.
⁴²Yet the Lord’s word in Jorah’s heart was as a flame that no water could quench.
⁴³“Do not fear,” God had said, “for I am thy shield and thy strength.”
⁴⁴“Though they bind thy hands and cast thee into the darkest prison, thy spirit will soar free.”
⁴⁵“Even in death, thy testimony will be a light to many.”
⁴⁶Thus Jorah persevered, strengthened by divine assurance.
⁴⁷And the people, though many were silent, began to prepare their hearts.
⁴⁸The hope of miracles unseen moved among them like a gentle wind before a coming storm.
⁴⁹The prophecy of God’s Son was no longer distant; it was near, and growing ever brighter.
⁵⁰And so the Prophet went forth, unyielding and bold, to proclaim the coming dawn of miracles that would forever change the kingdoms of Ivalice.
