CHAPTER 2
¹And it came to pass, after seven days were fulfilled, that Leviathan, servant of the Lord, did remain upon the isle of Saphir, awaiting further revelation.
²On the eighth day, as the sun rose in the east, another vision came: a great hush descended upon all creation.
³The Heavens ceased their singing, and the choirs of angels fell silent.
⁴Ivalice stilled its motion, and the seas calmed their waves.
⁵Even the depths of Hell were quieted, and the voices of the damned were silenced.
⁶Then a voice, mighty and resounding, echoed through all realms, saying, “Behold!”
⁷And all beings, from the highest seraph to the lowest creature, turned their gaze toward the throne of the Most High.
⁸Upon the throne sat the Lord, clothed in majesty and light unapproachable.
⁹In His right hand, He held forth a gleaming star, radiant and pure.
¹⁰The star shone with the brilliance of the sun, and its light pierced every shadow.
¹¹Then, in a moment, the star was transformed into a great scroll, bound with seven seals.
¹²The scroll was vast, written within and without, and its seals were of diverse metals.
¹³The first seal was of lead, heavy and dull.
¹⁴The second seal was of silver, gleaming and pure.
¹⁵The third seal was of iron, strong and unyielding.
¹⁶The fourth seal was of zinc, bright and brittle.
¹⁷The fifth seal was of tin, soft and malleable.
¹⁸The sixth seal was of copper, red and enduring.
¹⁹The seventh seal was of gold, shining with divine glory.
²⁰The Lord lifted the scroll high, and all creation beheld it.
²¹Then He spoke, saying, “With the breaking of these seals shall come the End, and the Coming of Paradise.”
²²“For the time is fulfilled, and the mysteries of My will shall be revealed.”
²³Then the Lord turned to Ajora, who stood beside Him in glory.
²⁴He extended the scroll toward Ajora, saying, “Take this scroll, My Son, and prepare to break its seals upon My word.”
²⁵Ajora received the scroll with reverence, and His countenance shone with divine light.
²⁶He descended from the throne, bearing the scroll, and paused in reverence.
²⁷Ajora held the scroll aloft, and all creation bore witness.
²⁸Leviathan fell prostrate before Ajora, overwhelmed by the majesty of the vision.
²⁹Ajora spoke, saying, “Rise, My faithful servant, and receive the revelation of the End.”
³⁰Leviathan lifted his eyes and beheld the scroll, its seals gleaming with celestial light.
³¹“Write what thou seest, and make it known to the faithful.”
³²“For blessed are they who hear and keep the words of this prophecy.”
³³Leviathan took up his stylus and prepared to record the vision.
