CHAPTER 4

¹Glory be to the Lord Most High, who sitteth upon the circle of the Heavens, whose voice thundereth, and whose mercy endureth for ever.
²Great is His majesty, and unsearchable His judgments; yea, even the wise are confounded at the breadth of His understanding.
³He setteth the stars in their courses, and calleth each by name; He counteth the dust of Ivalice and measureth the waters in the hollow of His hand.
⁴To Him belong all things: dominions and powers, life and breath, day and night, time and silence.
⁵Holy is the Father, that eternal flame, whose breath bringeth forth the light, and in whom is no darkness at all.
⁶Blessed be His Son, Saint Ajora, whom He sent into the world to make known His righteousness, and to gather His elect from the corners of Ivalice.
⁷By His teaching were the proud cast down and the humble lifted up; by His hands were the broken made whole.
⁸He drank the cup of suffering, and opened unto us the gates of Paradise; He descended into the shadowed pit, and led captivity captive.
⁹He is the lamp whose flame faileth not, the shepherd who returneth not alone, the vine from which the fruit of holiness doth hang.
¹⁰Let every tongue proclaim His name, and let every knee bend at the remembrance of His glory.
¹¹Sing, O Ivalice, and be glad, for the Redeemer of thy dust hath ascended! Rejoice, O Heavens, for thy King returneth in triumph!
¹²Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, who now sitteth enthroned with His Father, robed in light and crowned in fire.
¹³O King Igros, may thy days be long in the sight of the Lord, and thy name be as a banner lifted high in the courts of the faithful.
¹⁴Peace be unto thee, and upon thy house, and upon all who love the appearing of the Son.
¹⁵Grace be with all them that call upon the Name, and walk in the way of Saint Ajora.
¹⁶Amen.
