CHAPTER 4
¹Blessed be the Name of the Lord Most High, whose throne is from everlasting, and whose dominion shall not pass away.
²His voice thundereth upon the waters, and His mercy falleth as the dew upon the mountain.
³He it is who setteth kings upon their thrones, and casteth down the proud in their conceit.
⁴From the whirlwind He speaketh, and from the stillness of the temple cometh His peace.
⁵He filleth Ivalice with good things; the valleys rejoice, and the hills clap their hands at His command.
⁶The beasts of the field are fed by His hand, and the sparrow findeth rest beneath His eye.
⁷Yet greater than all these is the gift of His Son, Saint Ajora, who was sent in the fullness of time to redeem the lost.
⁸Praise be to the Son, who walked in the likeness of men, yet was without sin, who took up the burden of sorrow, and made it a ladder unto glory.
⁹O Light of the world, O Shepherd of the wandering, O Lamb that was slain and now liveth for evermore.
¹⁰Thou art the Way for them that are astray, the Truth for them that are deceived, the Life for them that do wither as the grass.
¹¹In Thee are the treasures of wisdom, and the fountain that never faileth.
¹²By Thy wounds are we healed, and by Thy blood are we sealed unto the day of redemption.
¹³Rejoice, O ye nations, and lift up thy voice, O people, for the dayspring hath visited us from on high.
¹⁴Let the harps resound in the courts of the faithful, and let the timbrels be taken up in gladness.
¹⁵For Ajora is risen, and His Name endureth to all generations.
¹⁶Let the kings of Ivalice bring Him tribute, and let every scribe set His praise to ink.
¹⁷The pillars of Heaven tremble at His majesty, and the gates of the deep are opened at His word.
¹⁸Blessed be the Father who sent Him, and blessed be the Son who came, and blessed be the Spirit who comforteth.
¹⁹To the Lord be glory, and to His Son Ajora dominion, and to His saints joy without end.
²⁰From this day forth, and even unto the ages of ages.
²¹Amen.
