CHAPTER 4
¹Blessed be the Name of the Lord Most High, who rideth upon the winds and maketh His dwelling above the firmament.
²The mountains melt at His presence, and the deeps are stirred at His voice; He thundereth from the Heavens, and yet speaketh gently to the humble in heart.
³His mercy reacheth unto the clouds, and His judgments are as the great abyss; righteousness and truth are the habitation of His throne.
⁴All things that are were made by Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made.
⁵He sitteth above the circle of Ivalice, and counteth the stars by name; the nations are as a drop in the bucket before Him, and yet He heareth the prayer of the child.
⁶Glorified be the Father Everlasting, the Lord of Hosts, whose light no shadow dimmeth, and whose will no force withstandeth.
⁷And blessed be His holy Son, Saint Ajora, begotten before the worlds and sent forth in the fullness of time, a light to them that sit in darkness and the shadow of death.
⁸For He, being in the likeness of men, became servant to all, and poured out His life as water upon the ground.
⁹He was despised and rejected, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; yet He opened not His mouth, but bore our shame with patience.
¹⁰By His stripes are we healed; by His death are we redeemed; and by His rising are we crowned with the hope of glory.
¹¹He is the Lamb without blemish, the Cornerstone rejected of builders, the Captain of our salvation.
¹²He is the Vine, and we the branches; He is the Shepherd, and we the sheep of His pasture.
¹³O how great is His compassion, and how manifold His works among the children of men!
¹⁴Praise Him in the congregation of the faithful, and sing unto Him with psaltery and harp.
¹⁵Let every breath praise the Son, and let every knee bow at His name.
¹⁶For the kingdoms of this world shall pass away, and the works of men be as smoke; but His word endureth forever.
¹⁷Blessed be the Lord, and blessed be His Son, from the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same.
¹⁸Let all the kings of Ivalice give glory unto Him, and let every sceptre be laid at His feet.
¹⁹For His dominion is from generation to generation, and of His Kingdom there shall be no end.
²⁰The grace of the Lord be with all them that love Him in truth and serve His will with gladness.
²¹Peace be unto thee, O King Yaravan, and to thy house, and to all the people of Limberry, now and evermore.
²²Amen.
